We do not have a full entertainment programme as in large holiday parks but there are various activities on the campsite from time to time. From the Easter holidays to the end of the summer holidays, there is a programme of activities ranging from a visit from the Easter bunny or a creative craft afternoon to various bouncy castles or a clown show. Consult the activity schedule in reception or visit our website for an up-to-date overview.
Together with the 't Massenhof campsite, a cycling club has also been set up which organises a ride every weekend during the season. The petanque club 'Massenheule' regularly organises a competition or tournament.
There are six public charging points in the visitor car park. You can charge with most current charging cards. The charging stations have a charging capacity of 22kW per socket, so your vehicle will be fully charged in no time. To ensure a smooth flow and to allow everyone to use this service, we kindly ask you to move your vehicle back after charging.
Yes, we have a limited number of 'basic' bikes (not electric) available. For a wider selection in Bredene: 'Rijwielen Heidi Pinte' or 'Ken's Fietsen Service'.
No, you can get there by bike in about 15 minutes, it's only 6 kilometres to the centre of Ostend. You can also easily reach Ostend with the coastal tram. Coming to Ostend by car? Then we recommend taking a peripheral car park and continuing on foot. A nice combination is to cycle to Oosteroever, this is the Ostend port area on the Bredene side, and then take the ferry that takes you across the harbour channel, straight into the city centre! The timetable for this free ferry service can be found here: https://www.agentschapmdk.be/nl/veerdiensten/veerdienst-oostende
About 20 kilometres. The best way to get from the campsite to Bruges is by bike. The ride takes you along the canal through a beautiful polder landscape to the heart of Bruges. From the Blauwe Sluis in Bredene, follow the Ghent-Bruges-Ostend canal as far as Scheepsdalebrug and then take the Ezelpoort to the centre of Bruges.
Not a fan of the bicycle? There is a direct train connection to Bruges via Ostend station (easily reached by coastal tram from Bredene). In about 45 minutes, you can be in Bruges from Bredene by public transport.
By car, it takes 25 minutes to get to one of the many peripheral car parks around Bruges. All peripheral car parks can be found on the City of Bruges website.
We are open all year round for our annual guests. Pitches and accommodation are not available during the winter period. Availability can always be checked via the search and book function on our website.
